展覧会に寄せて
成安造形大学【キャンパスが美術館】
「パースペクティブ」には芸術分野で使われる“遠近法”という意味の他に、前途や見通しといった意味があり、哲学や心理学の分野では“世界を認識する視点”として使われている言葉でもあります。これは、私たちが一人の主体として、自分自身が生きる世界とどのように対峙していくか、その方法論を表す言葉として「パースペクティブ」が用いられていると言えます。 そして、作品を制作するということは、主観的なパースペクティブを通して把握された風景や事物を、表現として第三者へ伝達していくということです。私たちは、作品を鑑賞することで作者が持つパースペクティブに触れ、彼/彼女らがどのようにものごとを認識しているかを読み取ることにより、自分の視点とは違った角度で世界に出会うことができるのではないでしょうか。その出会いが鑑賞者のパースペクティブに影響を与え、更に別の他者へと伝達され、渦(スパイラル)のように入り混じりながら繋がり続けていきます。
本展に参加している作家は、絵画、立体、映像、グラフィックアートなど作品形式は異なりますが、各々が独自の方法論と視点を持って制作をおこなっています。
梶浦は俯瞰法を取り入れながら里山の風景やその土地に根付く植物の様相を描き、鮫島はオブジェの細部や断面を繋ぎ合わせることで画面の中で新しい関係性と距離感を創出します。須崎は支持体の形状から図柄を構想する建築的な順序を踏みながら、シリコンに図柄を転写する方法で立体作品を制作しています。寺田はファッション・デザイナーとコラボレーションし、ファッションの在り方を多角的に表現することを試み、水野は風景を素材に光や色を増幅、反転させることで白昼夢のような映像を作り出します。
各作品を制作した作者の視点を踏まえてご覧いただくことで、本展が新しいパースペクティブに出会う機会となりましたら幸いです。

Besides its use in art to mean "perspective" or "foreground," the term "perspective" also encompasses meanings such as future prospects and foresight. In philosophy and psychology, it's used to describe "the viewpoint from which one perceives the world." This suggests that "perspective" is used to describe the methodology by which we, as individuals, confront the world in which we live. Creating a work of art means conveying, through subjective perspective, the landscapes and objects perceived by the artist to a third party as an expression. By appreciating a work, we can encounter the artist's perspective and, by understanding how they perceive things, encounter the world from a different angle than our own. This encounter influences the viewer's perspective, which is then transmitted to others, continuing to intertwine and connect like a spiral.
The artists participating in this exhibition work in various forms, including painting, sculpture, video, and graphic art, but each possesses their own unique methodology and perspective.
Kajiura uses a bird's-eye view to depict the landscapes of rural areas and the plants rooted in those lands, while Samejima creates new relationships and senses of distance within the frame by connecting the details and cross-sections of objects. Susaki creates three-dimensional works by transferring patterns onto silicone, following an architectural sequence in which he conceives the design from the shape of the support. Terada collaborates with fashion designers to attempt to express the nature of fashion from multiple perspectives, and Mizuno creates dreamlike images by amplifying and inverting light and color using landscapes as his material.
